Compensation:
The starting salary for this position is $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintaining robust internal controls and a well-documented accounting policy framework to ensure precise financial transactions.
- Overseeing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Managing all General Ledger activities.
- Conducting month-end closings and preparing financial statements.
- Assisting in the development of the corporate financial budget and monitoring variances.
- Overseeing fixed asset management, including capital budgeting and depreciation.
- Ensuring compliance with sales tax reporting.
- Managing banking activities, including reconciliations and reporting.
- Coordinating year-end activities with external CPA, including tax planning and reporting.
- Participating in strategic planning and reviewing employee benefit programs and corporate insurance.
- Handling all project billings and necessary documentation.
- Completing monthly Work In Progress (WIP) schedules with revenue recognition analysis.
- Serving as a backup for other accounting roles in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll.
- Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of software systems and their integration with finance functions.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of four years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- A commitment to ethical practices, reflecting our core values.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with Sage 300 and/or Procore software.
- Active CPA license.
- Proven track record of leading teams through successful audits.

Work Schedule:
This position follows a Monday to Friday schedule, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
