At Creative Financial Staffing, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our client's dynamic team at a leading manufacturing company in Grand Rapids, MI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting the company's continued success.
  • Manage journal entries, reconciliations, and job costing activities.
  • Lead month-end close and prepare income statements, balance sheets, and P&L reports.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and utilize moderate to advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and interact with various individuals across the organization.
  • Support opportunities for growth across multiple business units.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles.
  • Experience in manufacturing or related industries.
  • Familiarity with ASPE accounting standards (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of job costing principles.
  • Independent, motivated, and a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Compensation: $95,000 plus bonus.
