About the Role:

Flexera is seeking a seasoned FinOps Project Manager to lead the successful implementation of our FinOps solutions for enterprise customers. This role is critical in ensuring customer satisfaction, project delivery, and driving the adoption of Flexera's FinOps capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.
  • Lead complex FinOps projects, working closely with customers to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Manage and mentor project teams, including internal resources and third-party partners, to ensure project success.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as their trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, track financial performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure project success.
  • Leverage data and analytics to optimize project performance and identify improvement areas.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of project management methodologies and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in managing complex IT projects, preferably within the FinOps or cloud computing domain.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
  • Deep knowledge of cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and financial management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address project challenges and drive solutions.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • PMP or Agile certifications preferred.
  • Experience with Flexera One or similar cloud management platforms.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling and cost optimization techniques.
  • Understanding of data analytics and visualization tools.
