About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Oncology Nurse to join our team at Providence Saint John's Health Center. As a member of our cancer care team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to patients with cancer, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- California Registered Nurse License upon hire
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- 1 year Nursing experience
