About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse to join our team at Providence Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, CA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing infusion therapy, including administering chemotherapy and other medications.
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop and implement individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Monitor patients' responses to treatment and report any adverse reactions or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on the latest infusion therapy techniques and best practices.
Requirements
  • Current California Registered Nurse License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • Current ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Provider card.
  • 2 years of experience in oncology nursing, preferably in an infusion setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification.
  • 2 years of experience in oncology nursing.
