About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Oncology Infusion RN to join our team at Providence Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. As an Oncology Infusion RN, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and coordination of the interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessment findings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply the nursing process in direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Coordinate the interdisciplinary team to intervene according to assessment findings.
  • Administer chemotherapy and other medications as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients for side effects and respond accordingly.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Nursing degree/diploma.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing within 3 years of hire or equivalent educ/experience.
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Current ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Provider card upon hire, or will obtain within first 4 weeks of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) within 2 years of hire.
  • 2 years Nursing experience.
  • 2 years Oncology experience.
