Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Water team in Fort Myers, Florida. This is a senior-level position responsible for providing managerial, technical, and design services for municipal water/wastewater and industrial/construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of solutions to complex problems and provide technical, design, and project management services for water and wastewater engineering design projects.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, serving as a key contact for major clients.
  • Support business development efforts, lead proposal preparation, and present to secure new project work.
  • Conduct negotiations and handle controversial issues, exercising good judgment in handling and solving complex technical and people assignments.
  • Lead and supervise project teams on projects of varying sizes and complexity, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, actively participating in professional organizations and mentoring staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering with a Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to acquire within 6-12 months.
  • At least 15 years of progressive experience in water/wastewater project design, with a focus on routing, plans, profiles, and construction details.
  • Experience with hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software, including ICPR, Hydraflow, StormCAD, EPANET, SWMM, and Bentley.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, with excellent presentation, technical writing, and public speaking skills.
  • Strong leadership, team building, and communication abilities, with a solid understanding of the consulting business.
