Role Overview:
This position involves supporting the educational development of students with disabilities in various learning environments, including mainstream classrooms and specialized settings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing student behavior, including redirection and support for disruptive students.
- Monitor and document student progress across various instructional areas, such as academics and daily living skills.
- Address physical needs of students, including assistance with toileting, feeding, and mobility.

Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Personal Care Assistant certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Candidates should have completed 60 semester/90 quarter credits or hold an associate degree (or higher) from an accredited institution, or have passed the ParaEducator or ParaPro exam.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and recordkeeping skills are essential. Familiarity with technology and the ability to work collaboratively with students and staff are necessary.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds and maintain regular attendance.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform various responsibilities, including managing student behavior and assisting with self-care procedures.
- Must be physically present in the educational environment.

Compensation:
- Starting pay is $18.00/hour, with potential increases based on qualifications and experience.
- Additional compensation may be available for specific roles and responsibilities.

Benefits:
- Insurance benefits are available for positions of 6 hours or more per day.
