Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at The Phoenician, a Luxury Collection Resort. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare special meals and substitute items according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Regulate the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters to ensure optimal cooking conditions.
  • Pull food from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator, maintaining proper food safety and handling procedures.
  • Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish to meet quality and presentation standards.
  • Maintain accurate food logs and monitor the quality and quantity of prepared food.
  • Communicate assistance needs during busy periods and inform the Chef of excess food items for use in daily specials.
  • Inform Food & Beverage service staff of menu specials and out of stock menu items.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of related work experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Technical, Trade, or Vocational School degree or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods, and lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
