Job Summary

The Project Manager plays a critical role in leading project execution for strategic business programs and projects. This individual will align with Armanino's internal project and change management methodology, demonstrating best practices in project management, including initial project scoping, building and maintaining project assets and artifacts, collaboratively defining key performance indicators (KPIs), monitoring and escalating risks, and keeping the project team focused on meeting or exceeding scoped KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain project infrastructure and artifacts for collaboration and management of assigned projects.
  • Coordinate all project-related meetings, owning the meeting agenda and notes.
  • Achieve scoped KPIs by leading complex cross-functional programs consisting of multiple workstreams.
  • Effectively direct workstreams to deliver and meet aligned deadlines and KPIs.
  • Assist with project deliverable creation, including strategy and design, planning, data summary, and project findings, communication, and change management.
  • Demonstrate leadership, partnership, and collaboration, motivating and inspiring high-functioning cross-functional teams.
  • Embrace and clarify business opportunities, leading discovery to define objectives, KPIs, and design programs to achieve them.
  • Influence to achieve project buy-in at all levels, understanding and attending to business drivers, individual motivations, and the program's differing impact across various business units.
  • Provide reports and leadership presentation updates on program metrics and alignment to achieving KPIs.
  • Ensure all stakeholders are appropriately informed and aligned, surfacing decision points and misalignment, proactively seeking out and managing objections and competing perspectives.
  • Continuously monitor program exposure and ensure appropriate risk communication, escalation, and risk mitigation plans are in place.
  • Continuously contribute to the development of others, championing a culture of continuous feedback.
  • Drive continuous improvement, challenging the status quo, and proactively identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience with business projects.
  • Ability to communicate business concerns and considerations to various stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent presentation skills (both creating and executing) and ability to tailor to specific audiences using Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Ability to compose and present comprehensive reports that explain and tell a story behind the data.
  • Experience with resource planning, scheduling, and tracking simultaneously on various projects.
  • Proficient at Smartsheet and Microsoft Suite, including Teams.
  • Knowledgeable about Professional Services Organization operations and technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Change management experience.
  • PMP or PgMP.
  • Accounting or Financial Services Industry experience.
