Job Summary

IBA - Inquilinos Boricuas en Acción, is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Youth Development Program Director to lead our Youth Development Program (YDP). The YDP Director will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily programmatic operations, developing high-quality creative youth development programming, and supervising a team of five staff members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and support a team of four coordinators and one manager to ensure the effective delivery of youth development services.
  • Develop and implement program plans, budgets, and evaluations to achieve program outcomes in academic achievement, arts and culture, college and financial empowerment, and civic engagement.
  • Collaborate with other IBA Program Directors and management to ensure effective coordination of program schedules and events.
  • Contribute to advocacy strategies to maximize the potential of youth advocacy.
  • Work with IBA marketing to increase program visibility and participation through communications, program marketing, outreach, and advertising.
  • Oversee and maintain data on client participation, referrals, length of stay, outputs, and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Instructional Design, Project Management, Non-Profit Management, or related field.
  • Five years of experience in an administrative or management capacity in youth services, family support, or K-12 educational settings.
  • Three+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Relationship management skills and experience in fostering a team approach to youth development and collaboration among partner organizations.
  • Experience with information technology and arts education in project-based learning programs for children/youth in nonprofit or K-12 settings.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of working with children/youth development models and a proven record of working with high-risk youth.
  • First Aid Training Certification and CPR Certification.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong administrative, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and within deadlines.
  • Effective at working with others to reach common goals and objectives.

IBA offers a competitive annual wage of $90,000-95,000, commensurate with experience, and a robust benefit plan that includes comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, a generous HRA, and a 403b plan with annual employer contribution.
