Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teen Program Coordinator to join our team at the YMCA of Greater Boston. Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Collaborate with the Teen Director to design and implement engaging programs that meet the needs of middle and high school students, aligning with the YMCA's mission and values.
  • Program Implementation: Supervise and facilitate daily clubs and activities, ensuring that all programs are delivered in a safe and respectful manner.
  • Enrollment and Participation: Monitor and maintain accurate records of enrollment and participation in Y programs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase engagement.
  • Training and Development: Ensure that teens participate in all required training, special events, and community collaborations, promoting their personal growth and development.
  • Communication: Communicate program information, problems, and concerns to the Regional Teen Program Director and other stakeholders, maintaining open and transparent communication channels.
  • Reporting and Tracking: Meet all reporting and tracking requirements for collaborative programs, providing regular updates and insights to inform program development and improvement.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: 21+ years old, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in youth programming, preferably in a teen-focused setting.
  • Certifications: CPR, First Aid, and other program-specific certifications required upon or after hire.
