Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to lead our Community Coordination team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of programs that support low-income residents in the Greater Boston region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Implementation: Develop and implement programs that address the needs of low-income residents, including case management services, community outreach, and education.
  • Team Management: Oversee the staffing, training, and management of the Community Coordination team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to achieve program goals.
  • Partnerships and Collaborations: Partner with other organizations and stakeholders to develop and implement programs that support low-income residents, including community events and statewide eligible benefit programs.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Conduct data analysis to develop and implement outreach strategies to increase the exposure and reach of programs, and maintain accurate records and generate reports as requested.
  • Communication and Coordination: Communicate and coordinate with other partnering Community Action Agencies (CAAs) and update Program Guidance and other program documents.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and three to five years of relevant experience in program development and implementation, team management, and community outreach.
  • Skills and Knowledge: Strong oral and written communication skills, flexibility, initiative, and ability to work in a team, and ability to deal sensitively and effectively with individuals of diverse economic and cultural backgrounds.
