Position Overview

As a Youth Program Coordinator at the YMCA of Greater Boston, you will be instrumental in designing and overseeing programs tailored for adolescents, while nurturing constructive relationships with middle and high school participants. Working closely with our Regional Teen Director, your role will encompass organizing engaging activities, advocating for positive character development, and ensuring a secure environment for all attendees.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum age of 21 years
  • Experience in youth engagement and programming
  • Certifications in CPR, First Aid, and others as necessary
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus
Core Duties:
  • Create and execute programs aimed at middle and high school students
  • Work in partnership with the Teen Director to establish objectives and benchmarks
  • Manage service delivery while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for youth
  • Involve teens in daily activities aligned with their interests
  • Monitor program enrollment and participation metrics
  • Participate in required meetings and training sessions
  • Maintain program spaces and resources
  • Comply with YMCA policies and standards
