EMPLOYER: PROSPECT MEDICAL HOLDINGS
POSITION TITLE: CLINICAL LABORATORY SPECIALIST
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: The Clinical Laboratory Specialist, under supervision, executes pre-analytical, analytical, and post-analytical processes for all testing with precision and efficiency as permitted under applicable regulations. Evaluates test outcomes in alignment with diverse patient demographics (e.g., pediatric, neonatal, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients). Communicates and documents test results to the relevant healthcare provider or facility. Upholds quality control, quality assurance, and preventive maintenance in accordance with departmental protocols. Effectively engages with all laboratory information systems. Maintains compliance with annual state-mandated educational standards. Ensures sufficient inventory and supplies while performing clerical duties including data entry, record maintenance, answering inquiries, and generating reports. Facilitates communication and support by adeptly navigating computer and phone systems, fostering customer relationships, and delivering a positive, professional, and empathetic experience to all stakeholders.
COMPENSATION: Competitive hourly wage. The employer will meet or exceed the prevailing wage as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor and/or applicable union agreements.
