Job Summary

The Hermitage Club at Haystack Mountain is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Ski/Snowboard Instructor Assistant. As a key member of our youth ski/snowboard program, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and enjoyable learning environment for children of all skill levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist lead instructors with group supervision and organization
  • Support the development of children's skiing and snowboarding skills
  • Ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Participate in on-the-job training and professional development opportunities
Requirements
  • Must be at least 14 years old
  • Ability to interact and communicate with children aged 3-12
  • Enthusiasm for working with children and a willingness to learn
  • Intermediate-level skiing or snowboarding skills
  • Ability to safely ride lifts with children
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods
Working Conditions
  • Work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
  • Exposure to inclement weather
  • Wear an approved helmet when skiing
