Key Responsibilities- Regularly survey and interview residents to determine their interests, talents, and satisfaction with community programs and activities.
- Develop and implement activities that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents.
- Provide individualized attention to each resident to encourage their physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
- Assist in developing and coordinating activities and programs, including games, reading, listening, and community involvement.
- Attend to the individual needs of residents, including providing assistance with communication, technology, and activities.
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in wellness, fitness, or recreational therapy in senior living is preferred.
- Requires knowledge of residents' rights and ability to ensure a safe, secure environment.
- Ability to organize activities and work with other departments to implement programs.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
