Position Overview:

The Service Operations Coordinator plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding client support by effectively managing service requests from initiation to completion. This position requires exceptional communication skills to ensure that both subcontractors and clients are kept informed throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize, coordinate, and oversee maintenance operations for client facilities.
  • Manage service requests from inception to resolution, ensuring timely completion within the defined scope and budget.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors, acting as their primary contact for issues and providing prompt resolutions to inquiries.
  • Prepare and deliver customer quotes with urgency, prioritizing emergency situations, routine services, and scheduled tasks effectively.
  • Assign work orders to the appropriate subcontractors while considering cost and lead time.
  • Keep accurate records and documentation for all service interactions.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors to set time and cost parameters while implementing best practices to improve service efficiency.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to work a rotating on-call or alternate schedule.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications with a willingness to learn new software.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in customer service is essential.

Physical Requirements:

  • Extended periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
