Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team in St. Louis. As a Project Engineer, you will participate in engineering, procurement, and construction activities required to build energy infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include cost estimating, bid package preparation, bid solicitation, and analysis, contract negotiations, execution, and administration, managing the request for information process with vendors and contractors, reviewing and negotiating change orders, and maintaining updated vendor and construction documents.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in engineering, procurement, and construction activities for energy infrastructure projects
  • Cost estimating, bid package preparation, bid solicitation, and analysis
  • Contract negotiations, execution, and administration
  • Managing the request for information process with vendors and contractors
  • Reviewing and negotiating change orders
  • Maintaining updated vendor and construction documents
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited university
  • 5-10 years of construction and/or project management experience in the energy industry
  • Effective management of multiple assignments under time constraints
  • Solution-focused team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse team
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with direction on a regular basis
