Job Title: Mission Critical Design Leader

We are an integrated design firm dedicated to elevating the human experience through design. Our mission is to improve the lives of our clients, communities, and the planet. As a Mission Critical Design Leader at DLR Group, you will be responsible for managing project document development and coordinating with project team members to maintain the quality of the work product within the established project schedule. You will help create buildings that elevate the human experience through design, partnering directly with Market Sector leadership to ensure project financial health, quality of project documents, claim prevention, team collaboration, and communication.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and lead design disciplines in developing technical solutions.
  • Provide mentorship to other architectural staff.
  • Have extensive knowledge of all aspects of professional practice from conceptual design through project close-out.
  • Work and present ideas in a team environment, as well as self-manage and self-motivate in a creative environment.
  • Lead the project team in adherence to all practice standards.
  • Supervise the design and technical development of the project.
  • Work directly with project managers, designers, and engineers on the conceptual development of project documents.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience as a Project Architect working on Data Center, Industrial, Warehouse Distribution, and Office projects, with 5+ years working on 10+ MW data center buildings.
  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or design.
  • Proficient in the use of REVIT and CAD computer modeling and rendering software.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without needing a work visa or residency sponsorship.
  • The ability to travel occasionally to support project tasks.
  • Licensed Architect.
