As a Lead Analyst, you will possess the expertise, skills, and initiative necessary to provide timely, practical, and innovative solutions to our clients. You will work as part of high-performing project teams, mentoring less experienced analysts while showcasing your technical proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and assess program technical and programmatic baselines.
  • Create innovative cost estimation methodologies for various cost elements.
  • Generate independent life cycle cost estimates along with risk, uncertainty, and sensitivity analyses.
  • Conduct economic evaluations, including business case assessments, cost/benefit analyses, and alternative analyses.
  • Evaluate the reliability of government and industry cost estimates and economic evaluations.
  • Review the credibility of industry cost proposals.
  • Analyze government and industry cost-saving initiatives.
  • Examine industry contract cost and schedule performance, conducting variance root cause analyses.
  • Document and present analytical findings effectively.
  • Demonstrate leadership capabilities while managing competing priorities and multiple tasks.
  • Exhibit strong customer service skills and collaborate effectively with teams to foster a cooperative work environment.
  • Mentor and train entry-level cost analysts.
  • Assess program cost, technical, and schedule baselines, identifying key risk areas and translating them into program cost implications.
  • Utilize effective communication skills to convey complex issues and present findings to senior management clearly and concisely.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., economics, engineering, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or business) or a discipline that encourages problem-solving and structured thinking.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in defense, intelligence, and/or civil agency program cost and economic analysis.
  • Familiarity with weapons and/or automated information systems design, production, operations, and support processes.
  • Knowledge of weapons and/or automated information systems work breakdown structures.
  • Understanding of cost drivers related to weapons and/or automated information systems.
  • Awareness of government cost, technical, and programmatic data sources.
  • Insight into industry accounting systems.
  • Ability to think analytically, creatively, and critically.
  • Capability to communicate complex analytical results clearly and defend them in various written formats.
  • Active Secret Clearance is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is preferred.
  • ICEAA Certification or Defense Acquisition Workforce Initiative Act (DAWIA) certification is desirable.
