Senior Cost Analyst

The Senior Cost Analyst will be responsible for creating cost estimation frameworks, conducting life cycle cost assessments, performing cost-benefit evaluations, and generating various cost documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Convert technical system specifications into cost components while establishing Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs).
  • Examine historical data and learning curves to integrate methodologies into cost projections.
  • Formulate and assess cost and schedule risk-adjusted Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCEs), Independent Government Estimates (IGEs), and Total Ownership Cost (TOC) analyses.
  • Create foundational estimates and standardized documentation for cost estimation policies regarding previously unrecorded expenses.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or a bachelor's degree with 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Over 10 years of pertinent work experience, ideally with a minimum of 5 years in the Department of Defense.
  • Active or Interim Secret clearance.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to leverage cost expertise in the requirements generation process, planning, programming, budgeting, and acquisition policy documentation.
  • Excellent coordination, organizational, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, scheduling, and prioritization capabilities while maintaining confidentiality, ethics, and integrity.
  • Capacity to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to foster a cooperative team environment.
  • Capability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Office, Outlook, and familiar with AutoCAD, Visio, and MS Project 2007.
  • Experience with ACEIT or other cost estimating and risk assessment tools such as SEER-SEM and Crystal Ball.
  • Ability to operate autonomously without direct oversight.
