About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our Land Development team at Actalent. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for engaging with all project phases, from design through the municipal approval process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of civil, environmental, transportation engineering, site planning, surveying, and landscape architecture tasks under close supervision.
  • Utilize computer and engineering software, with a strong familiarity with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Design portions of projects under supervision.
  • Assist in field surveying and construction observation.
  • Research literature catalogs, prepare quantity estimates, and draft reports required for project permits.
  • Attend meetings with the project engineer.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Project Overview:

Our projects are diverse, including residential, commercial, institutional, multi-family, telecom, and municipalities. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from concept to completion.

Requirements:

  • Strong technical skills in civil engineering, with a focus on site development.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
