About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team as a Project Lead for Municipal Services. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for managing and implementing multi-discipline projects for public improvement, including underground infrastructure, non-motorized pathways, and park improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Lead and coordinate design and plan production for public improvement projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
  • Technical Review: Perform and coordinate technical reviews of public infrastructure and land development on application submittals, including specialized technical reviews by others.
  • Client Coordination: Provide ongoing coordination between developer personnel and township and field staff from concept plan through construction of the public improvements.
  • Review and Permitting: Be responsible for the review program of plot plans/building plans for construction permits.
  • Construction Oversight: Coordinate, attend preconstruction meetings for Township and developer contracted projects, and coordinate between design and field services throughout the construction phase.
  • Community Engagement: Attend development-related applicant and township staff meetings, including occasional Planning Commission meetings.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: 5-10 years of civil engineering design experience with an emphasis in municipal services, construction experience strongly preferred.
  • Certifications: P.E. preferred, not required.
