Job Summary:

The Operations Manager is responsible for planning and organizing the daily, weekly and monthly operations of the hospital. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising staff to ensure that all public and sterile areas are cleaned and maintained in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Assisting with training and in-services to promote personal and professional development for all subordinate staff.
  • Ensuring compliance with various regulations and agencies.
  • Performing administrative duties, including payroll, inventory control, employee counseling, performance programs, and budget management.
  • Implementing a consistent quality control cleaning program.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • An Associate's degree and 4 years of relevant experience in a supervisory capacity, preferably in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of DNV standards.
  • Managerial experience in a unionized environment.
Work Schedule:

The Operations Manager will work a Sunday-Thursday schedule, with hours from 6:00am to 2:30pm.
