Ivy at Ellington (ALSA) is a locally owned and operated Assisted Living establishment dedicated to creating a positive work environment.

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants or Home Health Aides to enhance our expanding team. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and available to work weekends.

Current Opportunities:
  • Per Diem (all shifts)
  • 24 or 32 hour positions (overnight/11pm-7:30AM)

As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will:

  • Report to the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse
  • Deliver personal care services to residents in a professional, compassionate, and efficient manner, adhering to state regulations
  • Document all care accurately
  • Prepare and review shift change logs, providing oral summaries for incoming aides
  • Notify a licensed nurse of any changes in resident conditions or needs
  • Respond appropriately to emergency calls
  • Report incidents to licensed nurses and incoming staff
  • Assess resident capabilities to determine needs for additional assistance
  • Assist with housekeeping tasks, including resident laundry as needed
  • Support dining room duties and assist with serving residents
  • Complete all required annual in-service training
  • Adhere to OSHA regulations and safety procedures

Applicants must possess current certification as a nursing assistant or have successfully completed a certified home health aide program. A strong understanding of the physical and emotional needs of elderly individuals is essential, along with a genuine enjoyment of working with them, patience, and the ability to enhance the residents' environment and quality of life.
