Kitchen Sanitation Specialist

The Ivy at Ellington is a family-owned assisted living facility dedicated to providing exceptional care in a nurturing environment.

We are currently in search of a diligent and committed individual to fulfill the role of Kitchen Sanitation Specialist.

Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.

Both full-time and part-time positions are available, with a requirement to work on weekends.

The Kitchen Sanitation Specialist plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen area within our assisted living community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily mopping of kitchen floors in accordance with sanitary standards set by the Department of Public Health.
• Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen workspaces and equipment, including nightly cleaning of cookware.
• Perform thorough deep-cleaning of all kitchen areas, including dining rooms, following the guidelines established by the Food Service Director.
• Maintain the dishwasher in proper working condition and ensure it is cleaned regularly.
• Adhere to OSHA regulations and safety protocols while operating equipment, lifting, and bending, and report any personal or work-related injuries immediately in accordance with established procedures.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Demonstrated experience in dietary services is required.
• Must possess sensitivity towards the needs of elderly and disabled individuals.
