Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Resident Care Aide to provide exceptional support to our residents. This role is available for Per Diem or Part-Time positions across various shifts.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Availability to work on weekends is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Resident Care Director and Wellness Nurse.
  • Deliver personal care services to residents with professionalism, compassion, and efficiency, adhering to state regulations.
  • Document all care provided accurately.
  • Prepare and review shift change logs at the start and end of each shift, ensuring effective communication with incoming staff.
  • Notify a licensed nurse of any changes in residents' conditions or needs.
  • Respond appropriately to the emergency call system.
  • Report incidents to a licensed nurse and incoming staff members.
  • Assess residents' capabilities to identify needs for additional support.
  • Assist with housekeeping tasks, including resident laundry as per schedule or as required.
  • Support dining room operations and assist in serving residents.
  • Complete all mandatory annual in-service training.
  • Comply with all OSHA regulations and safety protocols during physical tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Current certification as a nursing assistant or successful completion of a certified home health aide program is required.
  • Understanding of the physical and emotional needs of elderly individuals, with a genuine enjoyment of working with them.
  • Demonstrated patience and empathy in enhancing residents' living environments and overall quality of life.
