Position: Overnight Veterinary Care Technician - Emergency and Intensive Care Unit
Role Overview: As an Overnight Veterinary Care Technician in the ER/ICU, your key responsibilities will encompass:
- Assessing and prioritizing patient needs while assisting clients during their visit
- Working closely with veterinarians in evaluating patients, conducting diagnostics, and implementing treatment plans
- Managing laboratory specimens and utilizing imaging technology
- Administering sedation and anesthesia as required
- Delivering outstanding client service and support
This position requires working three 12-hour overnight shifts.
Candidate Profile:
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Capacity to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Proficient in the use of medical instruments and equipment
- Basic mathematical skills for accurate medication dosage calculations
Essential Qualifications: A minimum of two years of experience as a veterinary technician or assistant is required.
