Job Title: Auto Claims Manager

At InnovAge, we are seeking a highly skilled Auto Claims Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Transportation department, you will be responsible for leading auto claims management efforts and risk mitigation initiatives.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to our internal risk management claims team.
  • Manage our critical third-party representatives (Carrier/TPA, broker, legal counsel, etc.) in conjunction with the Transportation and Legal departments.
  • Oversee the lifecycle of all claims to ensure appropriate financial controls are maintained while ensuring the maximum outcome-based metrics are achieved.
  • Establish claims processes to effectively achieve shared and clearly established objectives.
  • Provide technical claims expertise and support to business units.
  • Coordinate the exchange of information, including written documentation, in connection with the legal defense of Auto matters.
  • Assist with insurance renewals, including data collection, underwriting meetings, and broker engagement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Management, Accounting, or related field.
  • 5+ years of related experience, including claims processing and resolving issues and adjustments required.
  • Well-versed in claims management with a specific focus on Auto Liability.
  • Experience with claims processing, researching, and resolving issues and adjustments.
  • Experience and strong knowledge of co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance, coordination of benefits, and secondary insurance and stop loss.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in claims management in large Transportation departments.
Salary Range:

USD $95,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 per year.
