Job Title: Auto Claims Manager

The Auto Claims Manager will play a critical role in leading our auto claims management efforts and risk mitigation initiatives. This position requires a strong understanding of claims management, risk mitigation, and strategic guidance.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead auto claims management efforts and risk mitigation initiatives
  • Provide strategic guidance and leadership to our internal risk management claims team
  • Manage critical third-party representatives (Carrier/TPA, broker, legal counsel, etc.) in conjunction with the Transportation and Legal departments
  • Develop and implement claims processes to effectively achieve shared and clearly established objectives
  • Provide technical claims expertise and support to business units
  • Oversee the lifecycle of all claims to ensure appropriate financial controls are maintained
  • Ensure cost containment solutions are identified and deployed
  • Coordinate the exchange of information, including written documentation, in connection with the legal defense of Auto matters
  • Establish key departmental metrics and create KPIs
  • Assist with insurance renewals, including data collection, underwriting meetings, and broker engagement
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business Management, Accounting, or related field
  • 5+ years of related experience, including claims processing and resolving issues and adjustments required
  • Well-versed in claims management with a specific focus on Auto Liability
  • Experience with claims processing, researching, and resolving issues and adjustments
  • Experience and strong knowledge of co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance, coordination of benefits, and secondary insurance and stop loss
Preferred:
  • Experience working in claims management in large Transportation departments
Posted Salary Range:

USD $95,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 /Yr.
