Job Description

West CARSTAR Auto Body is seeking a Parts Coordinator to assist Auto Body Technicians and Estimators with parts procurement for vehicle repairs. Responsibilities include ordering parts, checking-in received parts, delivering parts to technicians, and/or picking-up parts from suppliers/vendors, returning parts and ensuring all parts are tracked in management system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in ordering and receiving parts for vehicle repairs
  • Deliver parts to technicians and/or pick-up parts from suppliers/vendors
  • Return parts and ensure all parts are tracked in management system
  • Work closely with Estimators to acquire correct parts for vehicle repairs
  • Manage parts return and ensure credit is received
Requirements:
  • Experience handling parts in an auto body collision facility (or similar parts business) preferred
  • High School diploma required, collision vocational graduate preferred
  • Ability to use computer for parts entry and management
  • Reliable work history, attendance and punctuality
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • History of working independently without close supervision, and in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized, able to handle multiple concurrent assignments
  • Must have valid driver's license
