West CARSTAR Auto Body is seeking a Parts Coordinator to assist Auto Body Technicians and Estimators with parts procurement for vehicle repairs. Responsibilities include ordering parts, checking-in received parts, delivering parts to technicians, and/or picking-up parts from suppliers/vendors, returning parts and ensuring all parts are tracked in management system.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in ordering and receiving parts for vehicle repairs
- Deliver parts to technicians and/or pick-up parts from suppliers/vendors
- Return parts and ensure all parts are tracked in management system
- Work closely with Estimators to acquire correct parts for vehicle repairs
- Manage parts return and ensure credit is received
- Experience handling parts in an auto body collision facility (or similar parts business) preferred
- High School diploma required, collision vocational graduate preferred
- Ability to use computer for parts entry and management
- Reliable work history, attendance and punctuality
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- History of working independently without close supervision, and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized, able to handle multiple concurrent assignments
- Must have valid driver's license
