Position Overview:
The Sales Support Specialist role is essential for overseeing post-sales operations for orders and providing exceptional customer service at our showrooms. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are vital for fostering relationships with clients and addressing their requirements effectively.

  • ***Specialty Sales and Showroom Assistance***: Facilitate order processing for the specialty sales team and offer support to customers in the showroom environment. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the showroom and distribution center to enhance customer experience.
  • ***Administrative Sales Responsibilities***: Validate purchase orders for the Specialty Support Team, meticulously review and update documentation for precision, and relay any modifications to clients and relevant departments.
  • ***Order Coordination***: Resolve issues related to delivered orders, troubleshoot concerns, and generate back orders when necessary.
  • ***Will Call Order Management***: Manage notifications and scheduling for Will Call orders, providing timely reminders to customers as required.
  • ***Additional Duties***: Support the Vendor Invoice Processing team and collaborate with other departments as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in basic computer applications including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Demonstrate alignment with Dunn Lumber's core values.

  • Exhibit effective communication skills with departments and customers to fulfill their needs.
