Position Overview

The Texas Military Department is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Coordinator to oversee and manage complex projects within our organization. This role involves significant responsibility in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget.

The Texas Military Department plays a crucial role in supporting the Texas National Guard and ensuring operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and implementation of project initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Coordinate project activities and communicate effectively with stakeholders to facilitate project success.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to ensure timely completion.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation to track project milestones and outcomes.
  • Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster collaboration among team members and stakeholders to enhance project delivery.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
  • A minimum of seven years of professional experience in project management, particularly in plans and policy development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
  • Experience in a military or governmental environment is preferred.
