About the Role

First Student is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team of transportation professionals. As a Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel and gasoline-powered vehicles
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools
  • Collaborate with other technicians to complete complex repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working with diesel and gasoline-powered vehicles
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to obtain a CDL
  • ASE certification or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

  • $31.25 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
  • ASE incentive of $0.25/hour for each relevant ASE obtained
  • Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 5:30 pm full-time shift
