Position Overview:

In the evolving landscape of cloud computing, we are seeking a seasoned Cloud Engineer, Senior who possesses the expertise to architect and implement robust cloud solutions tailored to client specifications. Your role will be pivotal in leveraging cloud capabilities to address complex challenges faced by our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your extensive experience in cloud development to enhance our software development lifecycle, ensuring a seamless transition from development to production.
  • Design and implement cloud-based architectures that meet client requirements while maximizing the potential of cloud technologies.
  • Conduct thorough research to recommend appropriate tools and solutions, drawing from your knowledge of on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources.
  • Lead a team of professionals in overcoming significant challenges in cloud environments, ensuring adherence to industry standards throughout the migration process.
  • Expand your skill set in areas such as containerization and development, contributing to critical systems within the security sector.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud development.
  • Proficient in designing, developing, deploying, or testing within Amazon Web Services, utilizing tools such as EC2, S3, ELBs, RDS, VPCs, and IAM permissions.
  • Experience with microservices and containerization technologies, including orchestration and cluster management.
  • Skilled in deploying and maintaining Linux server systems in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages.
  • Possession of an active TS/SCI clearance and willingness to undergo a polygraph examination.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Capability to obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within six months of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of serverless architectures, including AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
  • Expertise in securing and hardening operating systems and applications.
  • Experience in application management, ensuring high availability and resilience.
  • Familiarity with application performance monitoring tools.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Possession of a Master's degree or relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
