Your Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your extensive development background to enhance the software development lifecycle, transitioning from development to production by employing cutting-edge cloud-native managed services.

  • Provide strategic guidance and design recommendations, ensuring adherence to standards throughout the cloud migration journey.
  • Conduct thorough research of existing environments and offer informed recommendations on tools and solutions that encompass on-premise, cloud-based, and hybrid resources.
  • Lead your team in navigating the complexities of cloud challenges, fostering innovation and problem-solving.
  • Expand your skill set in areas such as containerization and development while contributing to critical systems within the security sector.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in cloud development.
  • Proficiency in designing, developing, deploying, or testing within Amazon Web Services, utilizing tools such as EC2, S3, ELBs, RDS, VPCs, security groups, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, and IAM permissions.
  • Experience with microservices and containerization technologies, including orchestration and cluster management, as well as container storage solutions like Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher.
  • Familiarity with deploying, configuring, and maintaining Linux server systems in cloud environments.
  • Competence in scripting languages.
  • Possession of an active TS/SCI clearance and a willingness to undergo a polygraph examination.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Capability to obtain a Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within six months of starting the position.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with serverless architectures, including Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, and SAM.
  • Knowledge of securing and hardening operating systems, applications, and containers.
  • Experience in application management, ensuring high availability and resilient solutions through methods such as clustering or failover.
  • Expertise in application performance analysis and monitoring tools, including ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Experience with Agile release methodologies.
  • Possession of a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
  • A Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Certifications such as Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer Certification.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.
