Job Summary

As an Administrative Assistant at MiSource, you will play a vital role in the daily operation of our company. This position requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who can provide exceptional support to our staff and ensure seamless workflow.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mail and Package Management: Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely delivery and organization.
  • Meeting Logistics: Assist with meeting setup, including beverage and food arrangements, and break-down for daily meetings.
  • Facilities Maintenance: Maintain conference rooms and visitor offices, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment.
  • Mail Processing: Process all mail collected throughout the day and deliver to the main post office.
  • Internal Deliveries: Deliver incoming hand deliveries internally and deliver outgoing hand deliveries as requested.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Move boxes and files, office equipment, and furniture, ensuring a safe and efficient workspace.
  • Special Projects: Assist with special projects, including mass mailings, attorney functions, and other tasks as assigned.
  • Courier Services: Collect and process courier packages, and enter into the computer for preparation for pick up.
  • Office Supplies: Assist with monitoring and ordering of office supplies, ensuring a well-stocked and efficient workspace.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 1-3 years' experience in a similar role, with equipment maintenance and repair experience a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with attorneys and staff.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple tasks.
  • Crisis Management: Ability to remain calm under pressure and think clearly during a crisis.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift heavy objects, with a minimum weight of 30 pounds.
  • Equipment Operation: Ability to operate equipment such as scales and postage meters.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to train and motivate employees, with a focus on exceptional customer service.
