REPORTS TO: Facilities Supervisor
SUPERVISES: Maintenance and Environmental Services staff
SALARY: $23.00
GRADE: 77
STATUS: Non-Exempt
SCHEDULE: Full Time. Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as necessary to support the ongoing operations of the Kroc Center.

Responsibilities

Position Summary: The Facilities Operations Supervisor is accountable for overseeing specific shift operations and ensuring the cleanliness of the RJKCCC facilities. This role involves assisting the Facilities Supervisor in planning, organizing, and directing the maintenance and environmental services staff in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The Facilities Operations Supervisor will manage, assess, and guide the work of team members during their shift, while also facilitating training and development opportunities. Responsibilities include setting objectives, managing assignments, and adjusting schedules and priorities as needed.

Qualifications

Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent; an Associate or Bachelor's degree in a facilities-related field is preferred. A minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a relevant field is required. Familiarity with facilities equipment, including but not limited to boilers, compressors, generators, electrical and plumbing systems, as well as building codes and tools used in maintenance and construction. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, and possess strong interpersonal skills. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required. Candidates must also have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. Understanding of preventive maintenance programs is necessary. As a Mandated Reporter, completion of training on recognizing and reporting child abuse is required, along with the necessary clearances as mandated by law. A commitment to the mission of The Salvation Army and the RJKCCC is essential.
