Availability to work weekends and evenings as required to support the ongoing operations of the Kroc Center is essential.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Facilities Operations Supervisor is tasked with overseeing specific shift operations and the upkeep of the physical facilities at the RJKCCC.

This role involves collaborating with the Facilities Supervisor to plan, organize, and direct the overall operations of the maintenance and environmental services staff, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and local standards and regulations.

The Facilities Operations Supervisor will manage, assess, and provide feedback on the performance of team members during their shift; coordinate training initiatives; and adjust objectives, assignments, schedules, and priorities as necessary.


Qualifications

Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent; an Associate or Bachelor's degree in a facilities-related field is preferred.
- A minimum of two years of supervisory experience in a relevant field.
- Familiarity with facilities equipment, including but not limited to boilers, compressors, generators, electrical and plumbing systems, and building codes.

Knowledge of repair, maintenance, and construction methods, as well as the tools and materials used in these trades, is essential. Proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English is required.

Ability to effectively engage with individuals and lift/carry up to 50 pounds is necessary. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential. A valid Driver's License with minimal violations in the past two years is required, along with the ability to pass The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Driver's Test. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected.

As a Mandated Reporter, completion of training on recognizing and reporting child abuse in accordance with PA Act 153 of 2014 is required, with recurrent training every five years.

Must meet the Child Protection Clearances mandated by PA Act 153, including PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, and FBI Criminal Record Check.

A strong understanding of and commitment to the Mission of The Salvation Army and the RJKCCC is essential.
