Position Summary:
The Amusement Arcade Equipment Supervisor is accountable for the upkeep and technical functionality of arcade gaming machines. This role entails overseeing, managing, and ensuring the optimal performance of mechanical and electronic arcade equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • General Management:
    • Assign tasks to team members based on the condition of the facility, including bowling, arcade, and sports challenge machines.
    • Monitor and ensure completion of assigned tasks.
    • Guarantee that bowling and arcade equipment is maintained at peak operational efficiency.
    • Identify and recommend repairs or replacements for malfunctioning equipment to upper management.
    • Train fellow mechanics on safety protocols and operational standards for all equipment.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies, including OSHA standards.
    • Respond to service calls regarding any equipment issues.
    • Conduct inventory checks on all facility equipment.
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Arcade Equipment Management:
    • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of both mechanical and electronic arcade machines.
    • Manage the logistics of machine transportation and assembly.
    • Perform maintenance and repairs on arcade machines and other facility areas.
    • Complete required training programs for mechanics.
  • Facility Oversight:
    • Solicit bids for routine and emergency repairs in line with budgetary guidelines.
    • Schedule and monitor regular maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other building infrastructure.
    • Execute additional facility maintenance and repair tasks as needed.
    • Quickly identify common issues with components such as controls and audio systems.
  • Additional Duties:
    • Ensure compliance with age restrictions and alcohol regulations.
    • Uphold high ethical standards in the workplace.
    • Report irregularities to management for resolution.
    • Maintain effective communication with all staff and external contacts.
    • Adhere to company policies and maintain confidentiality.
    • Ensure a clean and safe working environment.

Experience:
A minimum of two years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

Work Environment:
This position is typically performed in a vibrant arcade setting where noise and activity levels are high.

Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to bend, stretch, twist, and climb, with a high degree of mobility and flexibility. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and lift/move up to 100lbs with assistance.
