This role requires a willingness to travel to various branch locations, with travel commitments reaching up to 50%.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directs the daily operations of the HR department across multiple branches, ensuring efficient administrative processes related to human resources functions and maintaining accurate records.
- Evaluates and interprets company policies, programs, and procedures, providing guidance to both employees and management.
- May oversee lower-level support staff and clerical personnel, providing leadership and direction.
- Collaborates with the Corporate Talent Acquisition team to ensure the timely recruitment of qualified candidates for open positions, working closely with department heads to identify necessary skills and competencies.
- Maintains comprehensive employee records, ensuring accuracy in details such as job classifications, pay rates, and organizational structure.
- Facilitates the training of new employees during orientation sessions and may lead these orientations.
Essential Skills:
- Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, or similar software.
- Ability to quickly learn and effectively utilize the Ceridian DayForce systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 3-5 years of relevant HR experience demonstrating proven proficiency in human resources practices.
