Job Summary
Norfolk Dredging Company is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dredging Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for conducting hydrographic surveys using GPS technology, managing GPS positioning systems, and providing engineering support to our project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct hydrographic surveys using GPS technology
- Manage GPS positioning systems
- Provide engineering support to project teams
- Assist with production estimating and dredge quantity reports
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Strong math skills and knowledge of surveying basics
- Experience with GPS technology and AutoCAD
- Ability to work on floating vessels
