Position Overview:

The IT Infrastructure Specialist is tasked with the holistic management of the organization's IT systems, encompassing server upkeep and user assistance. This role entails supervising IT support operations, ensuring the seamless functionality of hardware and software across various settings, including office and remote locations. The IT Infrastructure Specialist will also contribute to IT initiatives, oversee asset management, and execute strategic IT frameworks as directed by the IT Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

· Project Coordination:

- Assist in the planning and implementation of IT projects, such as system upgrades and new technology rollouts.

- Liaise with external vendors to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.

- Collaborate with headquarters and other IT divisions on project execution and system upkeep.

· Device Setup and Configuration:

- Tailor the configuration and deployment of IT devices according to user specifications and operational needs.

- Prepare and configure IT equipment for staff, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

- Install IT hardware in designated areas, managing cabling and connections for an organized and efficient setup.

· User Assistance and Training:

- Troubleshoot and provide technical support for users facing hardware, software, and network challenges.

- Conduct training sessions to enhance user competency with IT systems and applications.

- Maintain thorough documentation of IT policies, procedures, system setups, and user guides.

· Software Management:

- Deploy and oversee enterprise software applications, ensuring they meet performance standards.

- Manage software licensing and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

- Monitor software usage and effectiveness within the organization.

· System Maintenance:

- Execute regular updates and patches for operating systems and applications.

- Ensure all IT equipment is current and operational.

- Manage virtual environments utilizing technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.

· Data Management:

- Create and maintain IT software accounts, updating administrative data sheets as necessary.

- Keep an accurate inventory of IT assets, managing their lifecycle, including hardware and licenses.

- Support data requests from other departments by importing data from SQL databases.

· Backup and Recovery:

- Develop and uphold comprehensive data backup and recovery strategies.

- Ensure regular data backups to maintain integrity and accessibility.

- Manage employee data backups and secure storage within administrative accounts.

Additional Responsibilities:

Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the IT Supervisor.

Essential Skills:

Strong communication skills, proactive approach, and effective problem-solving capabilities.

Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Flexibility to adapt to changing organizational needs promptly.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Proficiency in conducting IT diagnostics and delivering timely solutions to users.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

A minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT role is preferred.

Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills.

Proficiency in English and Korean is required.

IT-related certifications are advantageous.

Work Environment:
