The Role

We're seeking a talented software engineer to join our team at Fidelity Investments. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and secure software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

The Expertise We're Looking For
  • A passion for technology and a strong understanding of software development principles, including design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Experience with modern programming languages, such as Java, Node.js, and Python, as well as cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Strong skills in DevOps, CI/CD, and automation tools, such as Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The Skills You Bring
  • Demonstrable experience with REST API design and development using Java or Node.js.
  • Proven experience working in a cloud environment using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Demonstrable experience with major JavaScript frameworks, such as Angular or React.
  • Strong experience with automation tools and frameworks, such as JUnit, Cucumber, or Mocha.
  • Proven experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of architecture, design patterns, and scalability principles to build highly scalable and resilient systems.
