About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Engineer to join our Fidelity Enterprise Technology team. As a key member of our Agile scrum team, you will be responsible for working across the firm to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure software applications using Java, Python, JavaScript, and other technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs.
  • Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and container-based development and deployment practices to ensure efficient and reliable application delivery.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like uDeploy and similar technologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in modern data architecture, including NoSQL databases like MongoDB and DynamoDB.
  • Utilize Azure and AWS services, including Event Driven Architecture and Webhooks, to build scalable and fault-tolerant systems.
  • Apply Agile delivery methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban, to ensure timely and high-quality software delivery.
  • Design and develop contact center or similar products, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Troubleshoot complex data issues across the e2e technology stack, using tools like JUnit, Jasmine, Karma, Protractor, and Jest.
  • Work independently and collaboratively in high-pressure situations, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Stay curious, innovative, and eager to learn, with a passion for mentoring others and driving team success.

Requirements
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience as a software engineer, with a strong background in Java, Python, JavaScript, and other technologies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of modern data architecture, including NoSQL databases and cloud-based services.
  • Experience with Agile delivery methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-pressure situations, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
