Job Title: Principal Full Stack Engineer

Job Summary:

Fidelity Investments is seeking a highly skilled Principal Full Stack Engineer to join our Universal Identity Platform (UID) team. As a key member of our team, you will design and develop robust data pipelines, leveraging AWS services, Java, and Python to drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Data Pipelines: Create scalable data architectures that efficiently ingest, process, and store data from various sources.
  • Batch and Real-Time Data Processing: Utilize tools and frameworks to process large volumes of data in scheduled batches and implement Java Kafka consumers for real-time data processing.
  • Automation and Scripting: Automate data workflows and perform complex data transformations using Python.
  • Cloud Integration: Leverage AWS services such as S3 and Lambda to build and maintain cloud-based data solutions.
  • Data Management: Ensure data integrity, consistency, and availability across different systems and platforms.
  • Performance Optimization: Fine-tune data pipelines for maximum efficiency and reliability.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent technology discipline.
  • Experience: 8+ years of enterprise IT development experience.
  • Skills: Demonstrated expertise and high proficiency with both Python and Java development, experience with event streaming technology Kafka, and expertise with AWS services.
  • Additional Requirements:
    • Experience handling data and building data management solutions.
    • Test Automation and CICD pipeline automation knowledge as well as experience in GitHub, Jenkins, and Artifactory.
    • Exposure to YugabyteDB is a plus.
