Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Full Stack Engineer to join our team at Fidelity Investments. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing web applications that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

The Expertise You Need
  • 6+ years of experience in designing and implementing web applications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
  • Proven experience with one or more popular JavaScript toolkits (e.g., React, Angular)
  • Proven experience with building RESTful APIs (GraphQL is a plus)
  • Solid knowledge of Java and open-source stack technologies
  • In-depth knowledge of secure coding standards and practices

  • Excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms to ensure alignment to software engineering methodologies
  • Excellent understanding of Test-Driven Development and Test Pyramid in support of highly resilient and stable apps with a high degree of code coverage
  • Strong understanding of modern development principles such as trunk-based development, feature toggles, and branch by abstraction to support performant and collaborative engineering teams

  • Staying ahead of the curve by aligning architecture, user experience, and security with chapters and COEs
