About the Role

This is a senior leadership position with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), a leading public health organization in the United States. As a Deputy Director for Technology and Digital Innovation, you will play a critical role in shaping the organization's technology strategy and driving digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide executive-level technical strategy and implementation guidance to support the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the execution of public health data strategy milestones and Division activities, and the technical implementation unit's evaluation and tracking of outcomes and measures.
  • Interact with comparable offices in other Agencies, professional groups, and partners on Office and Agency programs.
  • Serve as a primary liaison to coordinate activities with private and external stakeholders and other federal agencies.

  • One year of specialized experience in a senior leadership role with a focus on technology and digital innovation.
  • Proven track record of driving digital transformation and implementing technology strategies that support business goals.
