Job Summary

The Territory Sales Manager II role is responsible for identifying and building new customer relationships to drive year-over-year revenue and pipeline growth. This Business Development position will focus on the East Coast and Northeast regions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate new business from new customers through high-level customer contact, including frequent direct visits and extensive networking activities.
  • Effectively promote current technical capabilities and emerging technologies to facilitate the generation and closing of new business opportunities.
  • Build trust-based relationships throughout target accounts, from technical personnel to executive levels.
  • Collaborate with marketing, account managers, and product development to develop strategies that ensure MyoSite's position as the leading solutions provider.
  • Negotiate contracts with increasing autonomy.
  • Identify market trends, assess market potential, and develop strategies to grow market share using data from customer bases and markets.
  • Provide timely, industry-leading customer support and define internal resources when necessary.
  • Understand the process from pre-clinical to clinical development.
  • Influence without authority and collaborate across all levels of an organization (internal and external).
  • Achieve business objectives for assigned territories.
  • Develop, build, and cultivate long-term relationships with key management in customer organizations.
  • Assist management in devising sales plans and strategies, develop forecasts, budgets, and operating plans for product sales channels.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Life Science discipline or equivalent through relevant work experience in Chemical synthesis, Chemistry, or Biochemistry.
  • 3-5 years' experience in sales/business development, product development roles such as program management, CMC lead, lead technologist for drug development candidates.

  • Ability to work extended hours beyond normal work schedule.
  • Ability to work under specific time constraints.
  • Ability to sit at desk, in meetings, and/or work on a computer for long or extended periods of time.
  • Visual and manual acuity for working with computers and equipment.
